Synopsis
Award-winning performance artist Heather Woodbury returns to Steppenwolf with a chapter from her groundbreaking new performance novel connecting multiple characters and story-lines through a time-traversing exploration of Brooklyn and Los Angeles. In 1957, the community of Brooklyn Dodgers fans lost their cherished Ebbets Field and a Mexican-American community in Los Angeles was evicted to make way for the newly franchised Dodgers stadium. By connecting people with history, Woodbury’s solo performance explores the surprising effects of the twin disappearances of home-team and home. Monday, June 3, 2002 at 7:30 PMContent Advisory
