Synopsis

Things aren't quite right at the Drinkin' Lincoln. Richie's in love with his dead friend's wife, J.J. is talking to ghosts and Connor knows it all spells trouble. In a dingy bar on Chicago's far west side, the castaways of David VanMatre's sinister comedy, TAVERN STORY, juggle a bloodthirsty Asian Mafia, unpredictable inland tidal waves and the odd lowland silverback gorilla in their desperate pursuit of happiness, money and the meaning of life.
