Synopsis

Fur is a savage and darkly comic retelling of the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale. It is the story of Citrona, a sideshow attraction who captures the love of Michael, a pet shop owner. He buys Citrona from her mother and vows to make her love him. But she has other plans — love for an animal trapper named Nena. But the lovesick Nena wants Michael. Set in a desert landscape where sand is filling up time, Fur soars with Cruz's startling lyricism and poignant beauty.
