About Muslim Writers Collective
The Muslim Writers Collective is a national organization aimed at reclaiming the Muslim American narrative in media. The Chicago chapter engages in two types of programming: Open Mics & Playshops. We are secular Muslim identity based organization- meaning we uplift performers who identify as “Muslim” regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gander, sexual orientation, national origin and physical/mental ability.
Steppenwolf does not offer advisories about subject matter, as sensitivities vary from person to person. If you have any questions about content, age-appropriateness or stage effects (such as strobe lights or theatrical fog) that might have a bearing on patron comfort, please contact the box office at 312-335-1650.
