ABOUT THIS SHOW

Fixed Abode is a recurring variety show hosted by Tyler Thompson featuring local musicians, writers, comedians, poets and artists dedicated to raising awareness and financial support for vulnerable populations in the city of Chicago. What began as a small cabaret to raise money for refugees in Chicago has expanded to a series of events benefitting organizations across the city. We're all in this together.

Net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Cabrini Green Legal Aid, an organization established in 1973 to serve legal needs arising from the lack of opportunity, criminalization of poverty, and racial inequity experienced within the Cabrini Green community, just blocks from Steppenwolf's campus. Today, CGLA has become a national leader in proactively filling the void of legal representation, wraparound services, and advocacy for individuals affected by the criminal justice system.

Featuring:
She's Folks, vocalist Hillary Marren, singer-songwriter Daniel Fager, poet Quentin Rynbrandt, standup comic Stephanie Weber, and more!
