ABOUT THIS SHOW

Come Over is a multimedia musical storytelling event presented by Chicago pop artist Maggie Kubley celebrating the release her new EP, "Come Over". Kubley will present songs from the EP and never-before-heard works of music and storytelling.

Come Over asks if we can find ways to laugh at the things that frequently pain us. Kubley’s work spares no detail and offers a wry look at the experience of a midwestern millennial woman who was too polite to be a Riot Grrrl and too loud to be popular. Coming to terms with recently excavated trauma? Kubley has a song for that. Not sure how to deal with a family member dying? Kubley made a YouTube tutorial that you may find helpful. Can’t sleep because your roommate is loudly masturbating in the room next to you? Maggie Kubley feels your pain.
