Phoebe González is a Manhattan-born, Chicago-based actor and playwright. Chicago credits include You on the Moors Now and Wit (The Hypocrites); and the staged reading of White Thorn of Color (Mercy Street Theatre Company). She recently graduated from Northwestern University, where her favorite credits include Frances in Melancholy Play and Marisol in Marisol. While a student at Northwestern, her play The Next Left was written in partnership with Jenny Avery and Next Theatre, and received its first public reading as an extension of the Agnes Nixon Festival. She is also a proud co-creator of Casting Call Revisited, a web series devoted to empowering actors of color to perform material they feel passionate about, regardless of their "look."
