Penelope Walker
Penelope Walker makes her Steppenwolf debut with Love-Lies-Bleeding. She recently performed the role of Saartjie Baartman in Voyeurs de Venus (Chicago Dramatists) written by playwright and critically acclaimed adaptor of Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye, Lydia R. Diamond. Other Theatre credits include Goodman Theatre, Next Theatre Company, Chicago Theatre Company, Lifeline, The Bailiwick, MPAACT, Hartford Stage, The Arena Stage, The Alliance and The Alley. Her film credits include Severed Ties (Showcase Productions) and the short, Flowers (Spoke Films).
