Louis Rosen's songs and theatre music have been performed on and off-Broadway, at major regional theatres around the country and in concert halls and cabarets around New York. He was recently awarded a 2005-2006 Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship in Music Composition. His latest work for theatre, The Pearl, adapted from a novella by John Steinbeck, will be directed next year by Doug Hughes for Chicago's new American Musical Theatre Project.
