Charles Cooper
CHARLES COOPER (Lighting Design) is making his Steppenwolf Theatre debut. Recent credits include Another Part of the Forest, Seagull and The Doctor's Dilemma (Writers' Theatre); The Defiant Muse, Court-Martial at Fort Devens and Shoes (Victory Gardens); She Stoops to Conquer and The Chalk Garden (Northlight Theatre); Speech and Debate, Half of Plenty, Heritage, and Orpheus Descending (ATC); Macbeth (Greasy Joan and Co.); and Dolly West's Kitchen (TimeLine Theatre). Other credits include work for Next Theatre, TimeLine Theatre (associate artist), Apple Tree Theatre, Teatro Vista, Greasy Joan and Co., and numerous other theatres in and around Chicago. Upcoming projects include Weekend (TimeLine Theatre); Well (Next Theatre); Topdog/Underdog and True West (American Theatre Company); and Old Glory (Writers' Theatre). Charles is the recipient of five Joseph Jefferson nominations and two After Dark Awards. Charles is proud to be a member of United Scenic Artists local 829.
