Artist

Born in McAllen, TX and raised in Chicago, Belinda is an actor, musician, singer/songwriter and educator. After completing her BA in Theatre and English at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI, Belinda performed with Performance Artist Network (PAN) out of Racine, and attended Act One Studios in Chicago. Belinda is presently an artistic ensemble member with Teatro Luna (TL), Chicago’s one and only all-Latina theatre company. Past credits include Our Country’s Good and The Lion in Winter (PAN); The Most Massive Woman Wins (Act One Studios); City of Angels (The Beverly Theatre Guild); S-e-x Oh!, Quita Mitos, Lunatic(a)s, and Machos (Teatro Luna) and most recently, Tanya Saracho’s Surface Day (Victory Gardens) and Kita y Fernanda (16th Street Theatre).
