BIG GAY NIGHTMARE follows Jeremy Owens on his journey to marriage. It's a hilarious and hopeful panic attack aimed at proving queer people are not everything the mean nasty Republicans have been warning you about, and that everyone has the right to a love story.

 

About Jeremy Owens

Jeremy Owens is the creator, producer and host of the long running live-lit/storytelling show You're Being Ridiculous most recently featured as part of Steppenwolf's LookOut Series. His work has been featured in Story Jam at Ragdale Ring, Essay Fiesta, Fillet of Solo Theatre Festival, Story Club Chicago, The Paper Machete, and others as well as many bars and theatre spaces all over Chicago. Jeremy is a Core Faculty member at Story Studio Chicago where he teaches storytelling and queer nonfiction writing. Many thanks to Ragdale, and Write On, Door County for their generous support of so many artists and where portions of this play were written.
