ABOUT THIS EVENT
Ratas de Dos Patas proudly presents Ratas Gigante! Taking inspiration from the long running Latine show Sabado Gingante which was a mix of games, contests, and musical entertainment; Ratas reimagines this classic show and turns it upside down by making it intersectional, feminist, and queer. Ratas Gigante! is filled with sketch, improv, audience participation, and, of course, amazing commercials all seen live. Ratas will take audience on an incredible Gigante experience packed with laughter and nostalgic joy.
An evening with a collective of badass boss Latinas who in less than one year have taken the Chicago improv scene by storm! Recent accolades include a nomination for Outstanding Improv Ensemble by the Alliance of Latinx Theatre Artists and performing in the Melanin Festival at Second City.
Production Team: Abigail Piñon, Delia Diaz, Gabriela Castillo-Miranda, Jessi Realz, Luis Castelló and Marilet Martinez
Presented in English and Spanish.
