STEPPENWOLF THEATRE COMPANY'S SPECIAL EVENTS DEPARTMENT is one of the leading special events programs in the country. Steppenwolf's one-of-a-kind special events showcase our theater company and its celebrated ensemble of artists. Steppenwolf's special events are opportunities for corporate and individual participation, both in Chicago and nationwide. All funds raised at these premiere events support artistic and community outreach programming at Steppenwolf.

Steppenwolf Salutes Women in the Arts: an annual luncheon forum honors a woman for her career in the theatrical arts. For the inaugural event, Steppenwolf's Artistic Director Martha Lavey will conduct an engaging interview, in a format similar to Inside the Actor's Studio, with renowned actress and Steppenwolf ensemble member Joan Allen. Gala 2010: A Celebration of the Season of the Belief
Steppenwolf’s 2010 Gala on Saturday, May 8th, promises to be a spectacular party, and is your chance to celebrate with the artists behind our productions. Members of the renowned ensemble will reunite in Chicago for the Gala, serving as hosts for:
- An exclusive showcase of our production of Endgame, featuring ensemble members Ian Barford, Francis Guinan, Martha Lavey and William Petersen;
- An intimate cocktail reception and seated dinner with ensemble members;
- A live auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime adventures with our artists; and
- A private rock concert by Steppenwolf founder Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band.

Behind the Curtain
On October 10, 2009, guests joined Steppenwolf designers and scenic artists for an exclusive evening at the Steppenwolf Scene Shop where, for the first time ever, guests had the opportunity to get an inside look at how we create the unique worlds seen on our stages. Steppenwolf designers and scenic artists were on hand to offer rare glimpses into the technical side of our productions. The evening also included a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind set pieces and props, all used in past Steppenwolf productions. Unique Entertaining Opportunities
Throughout the season, Steppenwolf opens its doors to offer rare, exclusive entertaining opportunities on the set of Steppenwolf's state-of-the-art Downstairs Theatre or in its entertainment venue — the historic Yondorf Hall. Steppenwolf will work with you to design a showcase event that will meet your entertaining needs. The event, available for a contribution to Steppenwolf Theatre, could include tickets to a performance of a Steppenwolf production with a pre-performance reception or dinner, and/or a post-performance party with the cast, as well as an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Steppenwolf Theatre.
Dine in the Downstairs Theatre
Entertain guests on the stage that produced the nation's most renowned actors -
host an intimate occasion in the acclaimed Steppenwolf Downstairs Theatre. Dine with up to 40 of your guests on the magical set of the current Steppenwolf Downstairs play. You can also choose to have an Exclusive-Behind-the-Scenes Tour of the theatre.
