The Brother/Sister Plays are grand in scope, yet intimate and heartfelt.
2nd Story approaches storytelling through a similar lens, attempting to uncover the universal aspects of all stories, and to honor the age-old tradition of telling stories to educate, inspire, and connect people to each other. Continue the dialogue of The Brother/Sister Plays with three tales from 2nd Story storytellers - including one created especially for this evening - who hope to inspire you to tell the next story.

Featured storytellers:
Ric Walker, “Ripples in Glass”
With the exception of trapeze, lion taming and cliff diving, Ric Walker has done nearly every type of legal performance there is, including an extremely hazardous Lysol & Lighter show. Ric is extremely happy, grateful and excited for a chance to do something new; write and perform with 2nd Story. Currently Ric can be seen performing with the Improvised Shakespeare Company at iO (Improv Olympic), at Comedy Sportz, and with the internationally touring comedy troupe Wavelength. Ric is also a veteran of theater, stand up and film.
CP Chang, “Tribes”
CP Chang is a writer who has put down temporary roots again, after several years of the nomadic lifestyle. He received his MFA in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago. His writing has appeared in Hair Trigger, Upstairs at Duroc, Artisan, the anthology My Angels and Demons at War, on Nerve.com, and on wordriot.org. He writes a political column for the monthly newspaper Evanston Sentinel and can sometimes be heard reading as a part of the Kate the Great's reading series and the RUI: Reading Under the Influence reading series.
Megan Steilstra and
Khanisha Foster will perform a story together, currently being developed for this evening.
Megan Stielstra is a writer and storyteller. Khanisha Foster is so tremendously pleased to be the Director of Story Development for 2nd Story. It is a great honor to work with the wonderful people of 2nd Story, and she is very grateful to all of the editors, writers and listeners.
