Ticket Exchanges
SUBSCRIPTION TICKETS CAN BE EXCHANGED for any other performance of the same play. The deadline for exchanges is 5:00pm the day prior to your scheduled performance; after this time exchanges cannot be honored. If you move your tickets to a more expensive performance you must pay the difference in price. There is no service fee for the first exchange per play, but each additional exchange will incur a $2 per ticket exchange fee. Exchanges are subject to seating availability.
How to exchange your tickets
Your subscription tickets may be exchanged by phone, fax, mail, or in person.
If exchanging by fax or mail, include your tickets (for mail) or a copy of your torn tickets (for fax), a list of dates into which you wish to exchange your tickets, a credit card number in case of a change to a more expensive performance, and contact information. We will call you as soon as we are able to complete your exchange and hold your tickets at Will Call.
If exchanging by phone, call (312) 335-1650 and an Audience Services Associate will help you find a date and seats.
If exchanging in person at Audience Services, bring your original tickets so you may trade them immediately for the new tickets.
When you exchange you are given the best of what is available at the time you do the exchange. If seats to your liking are not available, you may take what is available and request an upgrade. Seats are often returned the day before the show and upgrade requests are filled then if possible.
Courtesy Vouchers
If you are unable to exchange your tickets by 5 p.m. the day prior to your scheduled
performance or if you miss a show, you may reserve Courtesy Vouchers for another performance.
Courtesy Vouchers allow you to fill any open seat right before a performance
begins. Courtesy Vouchers are limited and must be reserved in advance,
so call Audience Services to reserve yours as soon as possible once
you have missed the exchange deadline. Courtesy Voucher reservations
are subject to availability.
