In The Round sessions with some of country music’s best songwriters. Traffic welcomes award-winning singer/songwriters Kim Carnes, Big Al Anderson and Greg Barnhill to share the Steppenwolf stage "in the round" to play their music and reveal the stories behind some of country music’s biggest hits.
Kim Carnes is internationally recognized for her hit recording of
Bette Davis Eyes. Her many song compositions have been recorded by Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw and Barbra Streisand.
Big Al Anderson, former member of NRBQ, is one of the most prolific country songwriters in music today, with hit recordings by Jimmy Buffett, Martina McBride, Vince Gill, Patty Loveless, Diamond Rio, Trisha Yearwood, LeAnn Rimes and Tim McGraw.
Greg Barnhill wrote the Grammy-nominated song
Walkaway Joe, recorded by Trisha Yearwood and Don Henley in 1993. Since then, Greg's songs have been embraced by many other famed Nashville recording artists including Tim McGraw, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Martina McBride, Pam Tillis and Lee Ann Womack.
