Shannon Cochran

Shannon Cochran most recently appeared on the Steppenwolf stage in Man from Nebraska by ensemble member Tracy Letts. She received an Obie and a Theatre World Award for the role she originated in Letts’ Bug. She recently starred in Private Lives, at the Long Wharf Theatre, and System Wonderland for the Pacific Playwrights Festival at South Coast Rep. Other Steppenwolf credits include Morningstar, The Man Who Came to Dinner (also at London's Barbican Theatre), Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Your Home in the West, Inspecting Carol, Stepping Out, and The Geography of Luck. Other credits include Space -Mark Taper Forum, The Father - Writers' Theatre, Twelfth Night, Pal Joey and Riverview- Goodman Theatre, and Happy End and Henry IV- Court Theatre. Her film credits include The Ring, Star Trek: Nemesis and the recently completed The Substance of Things Hoped For. She has guest-starred on Grey's Anatomy, The Office, Law and Order: SVU, Without a Trace, Frasier, Gilmore Girls, NYPD Blue, and Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine.
