Joel Ewing

Joel is very proud to have been recently named Artistic Director of LiveWire Chicago and is thrilled and honored to continue producing original contemporary voices of American theater in Chicago. As an actor, he appeared in last season’s The 13th of Paris by Mat Smart. Joel has also had the pleasure of working with many fantastic theatre companies like Strawdog Theatre, New Leaf Theatre and Next Theatre. Joel is the Lead Theatre Teacher at Senn Fine Arts Magnet High School, a new Chicago public school for the fine arts.
