Biography

Dassia N. Posner

Dassia N. Posner is thrilled to be working on her first Steppenwolf project. Dramaturgy credits at Connecticut Repertory Theatre, where she was the resident dramaturg, include: Pride and Prejudice, A Flea in Her Ear, Othello, Tommy, Comedy of Errors, Galileo, and The Exonerated. Other recent dramaturgy projects: Tears of Heaven (National Theatre, Korea) and Endurance (Split Knuckle Theatre). A Russian theatre historian, Dassia studied at the Moscow Art Theatre School. She teaches theatre history, dramaturgy, and puppetry at Northwestern University, and is currently writing a book on Russian directors. She is a graduate of Tufts University.
