Joe Dempsey

JOE DEMPSEY has choreographed many fights at Steppenwolf including The Pillowman, The Unmentionables, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, and Sonia Flew (directed by Jessica Thebus) as well as violence for other theatres including Yale Repertory Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Next Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and Madison Repertory Theatre. As an actor, Joe has worked at many theatres including Goodman Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Victory Gardens Theatre, the Neo-Futurists, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, About Face Theatre and Lookingglass Theatre, where he will be performing in Around the World in 80 Days.
