Biography

Erik Hellman

Erik Hellman (Lord John) appears in his second performance at Steppenwolf having previously played seven characters and four instruments in Huck Finn. Most recently Erik played Thomas in The Busy World is Hushed at Next Theatre and Valentine in Court Theatre’s production of Arcadia. Erik has appeared on stage in New York off-Broadway with the Mirror Rep and in Chicago with Remy Bumppo, The House Theatre, Chicago Dramatists, The Side Project, DOG: a theatre company, Oak Park Shakespeare and Strawdog Theatre where he is an ensemble member and a Jeff award Nominee. Erik is a graduate of Northwestern University.
